Evernote then opens a new browser window and auto-populates a tweet in Twitter or status update in Facebook with the title of the note (which can be changed) and a URL that points to the Evernote file. ![]() To share a note via a third-party social network, users can click the new "Share" button and choose the platform they'd like to use. The upgrade allows Windows users to share with others selected notes (including images) that they've created in Evernote via Facebook, Twitter, and email without leaving the application. Evernote desktop client for Windows was updated today to add more social sharing tools directly into the note-taking application.
